ABACUS Training and Supervision are funded to provide eleven workshops to DRIVE per year to build capacity in the peer AOD harm workforce. Peter Thorburn is the preferred trainer for the network. Topics are chosen by network members and delivered once a month on a Tuesday from 10am to 1pm.

Eligibility to attend are:

• Lived experience of emotional distress or harm from alcohol or other drugs
• Resident of the Counties Manukau Health region.
• Not employed in the sector.
